Job Summary

  • This job provides support to the Ochsner Health System pharmacies to improve and optimize the steps necessary to get medications from a supplier to a patient.
  • The support focuses on inventory, purchasing, receiving and distribution.
  • The pharmacy supply chain coordinator will support the system’s initiatives to implement new policies, or modify existing procedures, to minimize cost, reduce waste, increase accuracy, and improve safety through the pharmacy distribution process.
