Job Summary
Assists in planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the operation and maintenance of the Department of Water’s water service systems.
Plans, directs, coordinates and reviews through subordinate supervisors the installation, calibration, testing, repair, maintenance and overhaul of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), telemetering, supervisory control, intercommunicating, electrical control and related communication systems.
Represents the Chief of Water Operations at meetings or conferences on matters pertaining to water system operations and assumes responsibility in the Chief's absence.
