Job Summary

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience
  • 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • 6 months Pediatrics experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Willing to get fingerprinted for the State of Illinois Healthcare Workers
  • Have Titers for VZ, Hep B, MMR and TB Quant done
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
