Must-have
3D modelling and 2D drafting software
Pressure piping design ASME B31.1 and B31.3
Bill of Material (BOM) preparation
Use of ERP system SAP
Pressure vessel design ASME Section VIII
Adherence to Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directives
Risk assessments and declarations of conformity
Nice-to-have
Experience with structural steel design
Integration of instrumentation in piping designs
Flexible working hours and travel willingness
Ability to work with diverse, dispersed teams
Strong English communication skills
German language skills
Training and mentoring junior CAD designers
Key Requirements
Completed university degree in mechanical engineering
Several years experience in industrial pressure piping design
Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, EN13480, AD2000 codes
Experience with ASME Section VIII and EN13445 pressure vessels
Working knowledge of SAP and Windchill ERP/PLM systems
