Job Summary

  • The Radar Analog and Power Department is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to serve as the Power System Technical Lead for Navy shipboard applications.
  • This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site with potential travel to multiple Massachusetts locations and shipyards.

Must-have

  • Power system design for Naval ships
  • Compliance with MIL-STD-1399 and MIL-STD-461
  • Leadership of engineering teams
  • Technical status reporting to customers
  • Onsite work in Massachusetts locations
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Naval tech Warrant holders
  • Proposal development experience
  • Knowledge of Agile and Earned Value project management
  • Interfacing with procurement and manufacturing
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Hardware development in DoD environment

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • Degree in STEM field
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience with Naval Shipboard Electrical Standards
  • Experience leading technical teams
