Big Sur Lodge is seeking a Line Cook to prepare, cook, and serve food items on the grill, collaborating with the Executive Chef for daily and special function menus. The ideal candidate should have culinary knowledge, food safety certification, and strong customer service skills, while working in a dynamic kitchen environment

Job Summary

  • Responsible for setting up, restocking, and breaking down of the grill.
  • Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking and tasting, meats, vegetables, and other grilled foods.
  • Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.
