Job Summary

  • The laboratory is looking for a highly motivated scientist to join a growing basic science laboratory that studies how immune responses to infection affect the developing brain.
  • The project studies mouse models of congenital viral infection with 2 goals: 1) to discover mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental impairments due to congenital infection; and 2) to directly facilitate development of therapeutics to improve outcomes in affected children.
  • WashU provides eligible employees with a defined contribution (403(b)) Retirement Savings Plan, which combines employee contributions and university contributions starting at 7%.
