The therapist will accurately assess and treat language/speech and swallowing impairments resulting from neurological insult/disease, developmental disabilities and delays, impaired oral motor abilities or laryngeal functions, dehydration/malnutrition or change in anatomy secondary to trauma or surgery.

Key Requirements
Five years of active licensed clinical SLP experience
Competent in Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Videofluoroscopy, Blue Dye Swallow Evaluation
Current California licensure as an Speech Language Pathologist
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
BLS Required
Minimum 50 hours continuing education in specialty area(s)
