Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with the provide advice and support in all areas of financial management, governance, operations and administration. You will lead strategic planning and corporate development strategies to strengthen financial and operational goals. Financial Management Provide accurate financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making by the CEO and Board of Directors. Analyse and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all donor segments, and oversee all financial, projects/programmes and grants accounting. Prepare and present strategies to the Board of Directors and provide status updates on key initiatives and revenue streams. Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process. Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; manage organizational cash flow and forecasting; and keep CEO and Board of Directors abreast of the organization’s financial status. Strengthen the financial management/reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements. Work with Community Partnership Team to maintain the donor management system and ensure that records are accurate and up to date; ensuring that donors receive their tax-deductible receipts on a timely basis. Improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual. Work with teams on impact reporting. Governance Ensure compliance with governance, legal matters and reporting requirements for charities in Singapore. Oversee risk management frameworks, health and safety compliance and data protection requirements, including compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and good governance practices (e.g. Charities Act, Personal Data Protection Act, etc).
