Skills & Requirements
Must-have
MS or PhD in materials science, chemical engineering, or physics
Hands-on experience with thermal ALD, plasma ALD, plasma CVD, epitaxy, or LPCVD reactors
Troubleshooting skills using KT, FMEA, Ishikawa, or 7-step methodologies
Experience designing and interpreting DOEs and statistical experiments
Familiarity with vacuum techniques, metrology, and thin film characterization
Nice-to-have
Internship or research experience with ASM specific equipment
Success optimizing deposition processes in high-volume manufacturing environments
Exposure to customer-facing technical discussions and presentations
Experience supporting process transfer, scale-up, or qualification activities
Cross-functional collaboration during technical challenges
Key Requirements
MS degree with relevant internship/research OR PhD in materials science, chemical engineering, or physics
Willingness to travel for training and customer engagement
Flexibility to support extended hours or weekends during qualifications or escalations
