Job Summary

  • Responsible for collecting and processing patient specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of disease under the supervision of a Medical Technician, Medical Technologist, Section Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Manager, or Medical Director.
  • Perform basic venipunctures and capillary collections, register patients and specimens in the laboratory system, and label specimens according to policy.
  • Maintain supplies and cleanliness of phlebotomy stations and assist with outpatient and inpatient phlebotomy needs.
