Job Summary

  • The Operations Technician is responsible for the overall safe operation, maintenance, and performance of a landfill gas to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) processing facility.
  • This position requires 25%-50% travel per month, with 50% travel required during the first 12 months when hired for a new plant.
  • Employees are eligible for a quarterly Momentum Bonus, 401K Program, health insurance, and up to 8 weeks' paid parental leave.

  • Troubleshoot plant instrumentation and equipment
  • Read complex technical manuals and schematics
  • Operate advanced process control systems
  • Perform hazardous waste handling procedures

Nice-to-have

  • Previous landfill gas operation experience
  • Technical certification or training
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical testing skills for gas chemistry

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years in landfill gas or industrial operations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass background check, physical, hearing and DOT drug test
