Job Summary
The Director of Nursing oversees the entire nursing department, manages staffing levels, and ensures compliance with all nursing policies and procedures.
This role requires direct responsibility for resident safety, recruiting and training clinical staff, and coordinating pharmacy services and medication destruction.
The incumbent must maintain current knowledge of regulation changes, participate in QA and utilization reviews, and assist with all state surveys.

Must-have
Registered Nurse license required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred
7 years nurse management experience preferred
Point Click Care software proficiency
Microsoft Suite product proficiency

Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Effective communication with physicians and families
Experience with state survey coordination
Ability to witness legal proceedings if needed
Key Requirements
Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 7 years nurse management experience preferred
