Amgen is seeking a Thought Leader Liaison for the Great Lakes region to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of vasculitis and related specialties. The role involves strategic customer development, event management, and collaboration across teams to enhance engagement and support for Amgen's rare disease products

Job Summary

  • This critical role will focus on maintaining and building relationships with external Opinion Leaders and large medical centers involved in vasculitis, and the broader Rheumatology and Nephrology provider landscape.
  • The TLL will be a critical member of the Brand Team and will coordinate closely with field teams, responsible for OL Speaker bureau relationships, regional speaker bureau management, and mapping key Vasculitis Centers.

Key Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing or sales experience
  • Master's degree and 4 years of marketing or sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of marketing or sales experience
  • Associates degree and 10 years of marketing or sales experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing or sales experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in Rheumatology, Nephrology, Rare Disease
  • Experience developing and executing HCP key customer strategies
  • Proven ability to develop and execute KOL mapping and plans
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment
