Job Summary

  • The Transportation Driver is responsible for transporting patients and/or equipment to and from various outside appointments, clinics, nursing facilities, hospitals, or other ancillary locations via hospital-owned vehicle.
  • Assures vehicles are clean and in working order, inspecting the vehicle prior to daily usage for safe and comfortable patient transport.
  • Follows all patient safety and vehicle safety requirements, including knowing what PPE to apply to patient and driver prior to transport.
