Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a proactive Workshop Planner for their Gaborone, Botswana location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating workshop rebuild and component activities to ensure efficient planning and execution

Job Summary

  • The Workshop Planner will work closely with workshop supervisors, foremen, technicians, EQ administrators, stores, logistics, and external suppliers to maintain an efficient workflow from job initiation through to completion.
  • This role is critical to ensuring efficient planning, scheduling, and execution of rebuild projects for surface and underground mining equipment.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of Three (3) years experience in a Workshop Planning, Maintenance Planning, or Engineering role
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
  • BGCSE or equivalent qualification
  • Experience scheduling activities using MS Project (advantageous)
