The role involves acting in loco parentis, providing continuous pastoral care, maintaining routines within the boarding environment and supporting academic, activity and evening programmes.
Key responsibilities include providing excellent pastoral care, supervising groups of 10–15 students aged 8–16, planning and leading activities, and chaperoning excursions.
This is a demanding residential role requiring flexibility, teamwork and a strong commitment to safeguarding, with staff expected to support students throughout the day and during evening and night duties on a rota basis.
