Job Summary

• The James Molecular Pathology Laboratory performs clinical molecular diagnostics testing and uniquely spans across the research and clinical missions of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital.
• The Medical Lab Technician-Processing reports to the laboratory manager and is responsible for performing specimen processing, manual computer test order entry; verification of laboratory test requisition entry, and customer services related duties.
• The Medical Lab Technician- Testing is responsible for all areas of patient specimen processing, media/reagent preparation, participates in performing preventative maintenance, quality control and assists with safety and compliance.
