This role supports the Data Protection Officer to ensure ING meets obligations under the Australian Privacy Act, APPs, and GDPR.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for privacy queries across Retail, Business Banking, Wholesale, Technology, and Operations teams.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
3-5 years experience in data protection
Strong understanding of Privacy Act and APPs
Experience with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
Knowledge of GDPR and global privacy frameworks
Ability to challenge risk assessments
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with AI governance and security
Privacy certifications like CIPP or CIPM
Collaborative and proactive mindset
Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments
Key Requirements
University degree in Law or related field
3-5 years experience in privacy compliance or legal advisory
Financial Services experience preferred but not mandatory
