  • Assist with research tasks, social media and website updates, exhibits, presentations, and other projects that support public engagement.

Salary

$17.60 to $21.03 per hour

  • Handle archival materials carefully
  • Create high-quality digital images
  • Upload digitized files into database

Nice-to-have

  • Interest in heritage collections
  • Familiarity with Salvation Army history
  • Positive interaction with staff and visitors

Key Requirements

  • Enrolled in related undergraduate or graduate program
  • Experience in Archive or Museum environment is an asset
  • Experience or enthusiasm for digitization and preservation
  • Basic understanding of copyright and privacy
  • Familiarity with digitization tools
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Between 16 and 30 years of age
  • High school, college, CEGEP, or university student
  • Registered in YCW Candidate inventory
