Job Summary

  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare tasteful meals following menus and portion control guides.
  • This position requires supervising dietary staff during the supervisor's absence and assisting with meal service and training.
