Job Summary

  • The position supports the mission of the Pharmacy department by ensuring that the right patient receives the right medications in a safe and timely manner.
  • The intern will gain experience in interpreting, verifying, order entry, compounding, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals while using Omnicell and Epic systems.
  • Starting rate for this position is $21.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits and career advancement opportunities offered by Mass General Brigham.

  • Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing system
  • Knowledge of Epic computer software

Nice-to-have

  • Training as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience with sterile compounding techniques
  • Familiarity with medical drug terminology
  • Customer service skills via telephone or in person
  • Ability to handle controlled substances appropriately
