Job Summary
You will work on the deterministic safety substantiation of the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant (NSRP) for the Astute Class replacement programme, known as SSN-AUKUS (SSNA).
The role covers the full deterministic safety assessment process, including hazard identification, screening and assessment; determination of initiating event and product failure frequencies; identification and assessment of faults; and identification of the corresponding preventative and protective safety measures and operator actions.
