The incumbent must ensure that the Planned Maintenance System is carried out in accordance with company guidelines and maintain accurate engineering records.
Responsibilities include proper upkeep of Oil Record Book Part I and keeping the Master fully informed of any machinery problems affecting seaworthiness.
