Job Summary

  • The role of the Occupational Hygiene Technician is to provide essential leadership, knowledge, advice and support by promoting continuous improvement and safe working practices in accordance with defined business, legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and review Occupational Hygiene performance through programmed inspections and audits, including assessments of suitability of Risk Assessments and Method Statements ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented appropriately, recording any findings, highlighting any areas for improvements.
  • Identify any relevant Occupational Hygiene related training requirements to ensure compliance on site, prepare, and deliver training as required.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience as Occupational Hygienist or technician
  • Experience managing fumes, welding habitats, LEV, RPE
  • Track record of delivering Auditing / Inspection / Remedial action
  • Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH)
  • Working toward BOHS CertOH
  • CCNSG
