Job Summary
The Cleanroom Technician provides specialist technical support for research activities within the Blusson QMI Cleanroom and associated laboratories.
The individual is expected to work independently with minimal direct supervision for the day to day operation of the cleanroom facility.
Errors in judgement, mishandling of tools and neglect in following standard procedures could lead to the reduction of service available to the Institute affiliated UBC research groups and external users, cause damage to expensive equipment and endanger the technician’s own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of other lab users and those in the vicinity.
