  • Performs instructional and educational work while serving as a teacher in a classroom/lab, organizing and developing coursework, coordinating classes for students, and observing and assessing student needs.
  • The Department of Human Development and Family Sciences operates a Child Development Research Center (CDRC) which provides educational/developmental programs for approximately 80 families with children from birth through five years of age.
  • Demonstrate the mental, emotional, and physical ability to work with young children and parents, and possess knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with children with disabilities from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.
