Vast is seeking a Tooling Manufacturing Engineer for its Long Beach location to contribute to the development of systems for artificial-gravity space stations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerospace or automotive tooling and will be responsible for designing, activating, and managing tooling for assembly and production processes

Salary

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or automotive tooling
  • 5+ years of experience in NX or other 3D CAD packages
  • Hands-on experience with handling, lifting, or building large, complex assemblies
  • Knowledge of project planning and execution practices
  • Experience with work orders and assembly instructions
