Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for the shift supervision and monitoring of security personnel engaged in the duty of providing a secure environment.
  • These duties include, but are not limited to, the daily operations of security, and assists in the coordination of the integrity and proper functioning of all physical security systems during their assigned shifts.

Key Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to five years in security, law enforcement or military disciplines preferred
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state license/certifications
  • Level II Noncommissioned Security Officer within 60 days
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days
  • Ability to perform continuous physical exertion
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment
  • Ability to prepare written reports
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
