Own and evolve the controls architecture strategy for robotics and automation within RTD, aligning with GM manufacturing, IT/OT, and cybersecurity standards.
Provide technical mentorship to controls engineers and developers within the Robotics Technology Development team.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in industrial controls engineering
Experience architecting and delivering controls solutions
Deep, hands-on knowledge of PLC/logic controllers
Deep, hands-on knowledge of Robot controllers and safety
Deep, hands-on knowledge of Industrial safety systems
Deep, hands-on knowledge of Industrial networking and fieldbuses
