Job Summary

  • Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
  • Essential duties include making available clean linen for resident care, maintaining linen in good repair, collecting and processing laundry, and delivering clean items to resident rooms.
  • The position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and regularly involves sitting, standing, walking, talking, reading, and hearing, with frequent use of industrial laundry equipment.
