Job Summary
Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
When ordered, prepares and administers ultrasound enhancing agents (UEA) and/or medications within scope of practice.
Reviews patient history and physician's orders, educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard
One (1) year of experience in Adult Echocardiography
One (1) year of experience in Pediatric Echocardiography
Registered as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (AE)
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
