Job Summary

  • In this role, you’ll perform hazardous duty as an Aerospace Physiology Specialist inside hypobaric and hyperbaric chambers exposed to pressure equivalents of 165 feet of sea water (fsw) and 35,000 feet mean sea level (msl).
  • Present formal training lectures to NASA astronauts, aircrew, flight surgeons, and test subjects on the various physiological hazards of flying and diving operations.

Key Requirements

  • Active military eligible for Skillbridge
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years experience or 10 years equivalent
  • Graduate of Aerospace Physiology specialist course
  • 3 years teaching Aerospace Physiology
  • Pass NASA Lock Observer physical examinations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
