Job Summary

  • This newly created role is part of an exciting transformation aimed at enhancing clinical support to community nurses across Home Care Hubs.
  • You will deliver engaging high-quality training aligned to the Healthy Ageing Strategic Education Plan while coaching nursing staff to foster a positive high-performance culture.
  • The position offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with a view to become permanent, based at hubs in Parkville or Keon Park.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Act and Quality Standards
  • Experience in clinical education or supervision
  • Understanding of clinical risk and continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Assessment and Training
  • Willingness to undertake Mercy Health Foundation Improvement Capability program
  • Flexible working arrangements availability
  • Proactive approach to transformation initiatives

Key Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Assessment and Training or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience in clinical education/supervision roles
  • Police check and NDIS clearance evidence
