Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for assisting the Plant Manager in developing, managing and maintaining profitable plant and materials operations by coordinating personnel and equipment to ensure operation efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in managing one to two asphalt plants and associated sand, gravel, and crushing operations to ensure efficient production and maximum profitability.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years plant engineer experience
  • Knowledge of rock plants and heavy equipment
  • Understanding of asphalt, aggregate, gradations, and mining practices
  • Demonstrated decision making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of heavy civil construction materials
