Technical Programme ManagerRole Overview: The successful candidate will be directly involved in early-stage research projects, working with academic institutions, suppliers, customers, and partners to deliver proof of concept designs. Key Responsibilities: • Own end-to-end program planning and execution for multiple research initiatives, from idea intake and scoping to feasibility builds and transition into product development teams. • Prepare and present program updates, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leadership. Secure decisions on scope, funding, and timelines. • Build and maintain integrated project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Manage dependencies across hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams whilst regularly reporting project status. • Work with lead engineers to translate process guidelines into clear research objectives, hypotheses, success criteria, and stage-gate exit requirements; lead gate reviews and manage stakeholder communications • Lead technical risk management, including DFMEA, risk registers, and mitigation plans.
