Job Summary

  • Leidos will sponsor and upgrade security clearances for eligible candidates who successfully pass the required language tests.
  • The position requires OCONUS travel capability with the ability to support contract needs 24/7 while deployed.

Must-have

  • Kurdish language proficiency (Sorani/Kurmanji)
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility
  • Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation skills
  • Professional translation experience 3+ years
  • OCONUS travel availability 24/7 support

Nice-to-have

  • Experience supporting contingency operations
  • Familiarity with US Intelligence Community
  • HLI (Human Language Intelligence) experience
  • Ability to brief findings to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in multiple languages

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years experience OR Master's with 6-10 years
  • Senior level or higher language proficiency test result
  • Must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • 3+ years of recent professional translation/interpretation experience
