** Transamerica Corporation is seeking a Senior Actuary specializing in Alm Modeling to manage staff and guide actuarial activities across various lines of business. The ideal candidate will possess an FSA or equivalent designation and have extensive relevant experience, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. **

Job Summary

  • Plays an active role in guiding the preparation and interpretation of actuarial and financial information, exercising significant judgment in setting priorities and determining necessary tasks.
  • Provides guidance and advice regarding technical actuarial issues such as pricing rates, modeling methodology, reserving principles and related matters, and leads the development of actuarial talent within the organization.
  • This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Baltimore, Philadelphia).

Key Requirements

  • FSA or equivalent professional designation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s in a listed discipline and 6 years of relevant experience
  • ASA or equivalent professional designation and 14 years of relevant experience
