Job Summary

  • The Electrical Commissioning & Startup Technician provides on-site leadership and technical expertise for the safe commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical systems across new plants, retrofit projects, and turnarounds.
  • Supporting Air Products’ facilities throughout the Americas, this role focuses on utilities and power generation systems, ensuring reliable construction and startup across technologies such as hydrogen, syngas, gasification, ammonia, and ASU plants.

  • Experience with electrical construction and industry standards such as NEC and NFPA 70E
  • Experience with setting up and programming SEL and Multilin relays
  • Experience with electrical testing equipment and procedures
