Job Summary

  • Serve as the agency’s lead expert on wolf conservation, management, and conflict mitigation for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
  • Implement and adapt the Oregon Wolf Conservation and Management Plan, oversee statewide wolf monitoring and research, and provide technical guidance on wolf biology and conflict mitigation.
  • Work collaboratively with a wide network of partners, including state and federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, policymakers, and the public to advance wolf conservation in Oregon.
