  • You will be working across our business, for different global regions in supporting both nuclear new build and refurbishment projects.
  • The work is varied and may include some or all of the responsibilities mentioned below: Design and development of nuclear reactor components and systems such as calandria, calandria tubes, coolant channels, feeders, headers, reactivity mechanisms, end shields, etc.

Key Requirements

  • 4-30 years experience
  • Graduate or post-graduate in mechanical or other relevant engineering
  • Experience in Nuclear, Power, Oil & Gas or other highly regulated industrial environment
  • Experience in design of nuclear reactor components
  • Experience in design of cutting and handling tools
  • Experience in coolant channel removal preparatory activities
  • Experience in inspection activities
  • Capability for design of tool and fixtures
  • Reactor coolant feeder layout and stress/seismic analysis
  • Life extension studies and ageing management
  • Experience in mechanical design and assessment
  • Ability to understand and define client’s requirements
  • Knowledge of fabrication drawings and processes
  • Familiar with international design codes and standards
  • Strong delivery culture, maintaining strict timelines
  • Proven computer aptitude, and expertise in MS office
  • Experience of providing strong technical advice and guidance
  • Exposure to field installation, commissioning and testing
  • Experience in supporting construction and commissioning phases
  • Ability to work independently or as part of team
  • Well-versed knowledge of Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing
  • Experience in production of drawings for equipment layout, fixtures, mechanical handling tools, and equipment drawings
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical equipment problems
  • Knowledge of CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, Creo, Inventor, Solid works, Unigraphics, Catia V5, Plant 3D, E3D, PDMS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Willing to work flexibly with occasional out of hours work
