  • Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS regulations
  • Experience with Medical Staff bylaws and policies
  • Strong communication with physicians and leadership
  • Accreditation survey preparation and compliance

Nice-to-have

  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
  • Experience recording meeting minutes
  • Coaching and mentoring other coordinators
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to escalate team productivity issues

Key Requirements

  • High School Graduate required
  • 5 years experience in Medical Staff Coordinator at accredited hospital
  • Prior experience with Medical Staff bylaws and regulations
  • CPCS certification preferred after 3 years experience
