The job duties of Tier III O&M Network Engineer are as follows: Tier III O&M of Juniper and Cisco routers include extensive troubleshooting at the layer 2 and layer 3 level and implementation of routing changes.

OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF's, VPN's
Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting
Network connectivity troubleshooting
Utilize monitoring tools and log collectors

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls
Experience with Forcepoint firewalls
Key Requirements
TS/SCI and Poly clearance required
16 years of experience (combination of work history and education)
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 compliance
Experience configuring Juniper and Cisco routers/switches
Experience with OSPF, BGP, VPNs, VRFs, MPLS
Understanding of routing, switching, IP subnetting, NAT, security
Ability to engineer and modify rulesets
Ability to read and develop technical documentation
