The role involves conducting community outreach to individuals with serious mental illness in homes, shelters, hospitals, and emergency departments.
Core Guides act as the primary point of contact to help individuals schedule appointments, advocate for their needs, and achieve personal recovery goals.

Salary
Base: $22 USD per hour; Bonus/Equity: Performance bonus potential and equity available; Benefits: Physical and mental health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, parental leave, and vacation time
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Lived experience with SMI or SUD
Valid driver's license required
Two years demonstrated recovery time
State Peer Recovery certification eligibility
Proficiency with smartphone and computer technology
Nice-to-have
Experience with direct in-person outreach
Trauma-informed approaches to peer support
Familiarity with local community resources
Interest in gaining Community Health Worker credential
Understanding of whole health models
Key Requirements
State Peer Recovery certification or willingness to obtain within six months
Valid driver's license in good standing
Two years demonstrated recovery time from mental health or substance abuse disorder
Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
