Key Requirements

  • Training or experience in fire service, building construction, or code enforcement
  • Valid driver's license or ability to provide independent transportation

  • Age 21 prior to completion of training if law enforcement required
  • Clean criminal record free of specific violent crimes
  • High school graduate or GED with 11th grade English proficiency
