This role will serve as a Neonatal Feeding Therapist to provide direct patient care and/or consultative services for the premature and/or medically complex infants in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as referred by a licensed provider

Job Summary

  • This role will serve as a Neonatal Feeding Therapist to provide direct patient care and/or consultative services for the premature and/or medically complex infants in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as referred by a licensed provider.
  • Responsible for providing feeding/swallowing assessments for all infants <35 weeks gestation at birth.
  • Confer with and coach families and caregivers regarding individualized feeding techniques to minimize impact of feeding challenges in their NICU infant.
