Job Summary

  • The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient's involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization.
  • The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement , the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care.
  • The Transplant team cares for Solid Organ Transplant patients across all levels of care: Acute Care, Progressive Care, and Critical Care, in one of the largest inpatient units in the Medical Center.
