Job Summary
The Plant Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and successfully executing all aspects of the Ventura Foods Quality and Food Safety Systems at the plant level.
This role will also coordinate projects and training support to the Operations teams and be a liaison with company functional groups of Technical Services, Operations Excellence, R&D, HS&E, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance.

Base: $98,394.00 - $127,591.80; Bonus/Equity: Annual bonus based on incentive program terms; Benefits: Health, Prescription Drugs, Dental & Vision, RRSP Program, Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short & Long Term Disability, Out of Country/Emergency Medical Travel, and other optional benefits

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree minimum Food Science, Microbiology, or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of management responsibilities in Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Technical Services, R&D, or other food science related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP or related)
Basic knowledge of federal, state, and possibly local regulations and standards relating to Food Safety and Quality, including FSMA
