Penn State University is seeking part-time Embark Peer Coaches to support incoming first-year students on the autism spectrum during the Embark Penn State summer program from June 7–12, 2026. Ideal candidates will be current undergraduate students at Penn State, particularly from the College of Education, and will help facilitate a supportive transition for students through coaching and engagement
Job Summary
Embark Peer Coaches support incoming first-year students on the autism spectrum as they transition to Penn State through the Embark Penn State summer program.
Peer coaches will partner with participating students in a thought-provoking and reflective process that supports them in making sense of their experiences, identifying goals, and developing strategies for success.
This role provides an opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and facilitation skills while gaining experience supporting students in a higher education context.
