The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
The role includes supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants and participating in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
The position requires compliance with state practice acts and facility policies, and involves conducting in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.

Key Requirements
Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist
Completion of 350 supervised clinical practicum hours if unlicensed
At least 9 months supervised full-time SLP experience
